About the Market
The Wednesday Evening Market is High Ho Gems' summer community gathering — a monthly outdoor market right at our Mokena storefront. Each evening brings together a handpicked mix of small businesses, artisans, holistic practitioners, musicians, and makers for a warm, welcoming experience that goes beyond buying and selling.
Think crystals, handmade jewelry, candles, art, Reiki demonstrations, live music, tarot, natural wellness products, baked goods, and so much more. Every market has a different feel because the vendor mix changes — that's by design.
Whether you're a shopper looking for something special or a local maker wanting to share your craft, you're welcome here. This is Mokena's place for community, creativity, and connection.

We want the market to be a great experience for everyone. Here's what vendors should know.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. We curate each market to ensure a diverse mix of offerings. If we already have multiple vendors in the same category, we may not be able to accept additional applicants in that area. We'll do our best to respond to every application promptly.
Each vendor is responsible for collecting and remitting their own sales tax where applicable. Vendors are solely responsible for tracking their own revenue, expenses, and tax obligations. High Ho Gems does not handle finances on behalf of individual vendors at the market.
Vendors may be asked to provide proof of their own vendor or general liability insurance. If you don't have your own policy, please let us know in your application — we may be able to discuss options such as being added to the High Ho Gems liability policy, if available. Insurance details will be discussed after acceptance.
Vendors are responsible for their own setup, signage, and teardown. Please arrive with enough time to be ready by 4 pm. Keep your area tidy and welcoming. Be kind to fellow vendors and visitors. The market runs rain or shine — please plan accordingly with appropriate shelter for your booth if needed.
This is a family-friendly, community-focused event. We expect all participants to be respectful, inclusive, and supportive of one another. High Ho Gems reserves the right to remove any vendor whose conduct is inappropriate or whose offerings don't align with the spirit of the market.
